LCD screen on a Kindle? Who would have thought that this is possible? We are all so used to seeing Kindle in the simple e-ink display. Since the first model came out, Amazon already uses the electronic paper display. And people have no problem using it. In fact, they love it. The great contrast of the e-ink has made the reading experience so comfortable. People can read for hours on end without complaining about the eye discomforts and the like. With the old display too, you will have no problem with glares and injuries to the eyes. Unfortunately, we have to move on and apply the available technology we have, for better or for worse.

Despite of the major disadvantage of the color Kindle, which is the huge reduction in the battery life, there’s still a lot of things to love about the new feature. First of all, the Kindle experience will never be boring again. You can choose font and theme colors for your device, read e-mags and blogs with more interest, and you can also view wonderful pictures too. The benefits truly outweigh the risk with the new Kindle reader features.

Aside from the new display, we will also be seeing the Kindle reader with a touch panel. Yes, the whole 7-inch form device will now be in touch screen. Well, it’s really about time that Amazon joins the touch screen gadget craze. Almost all the devices today have the touch panel, regardless of the purpose it serves. May it be a game console, a camera, a cellular phone and so much more, the touch screen is definitely the trend today.

As of the moment, the new reader is not yet available today. The release date has been moved to November. But rest assured, this new generation of the Kindle will come out before the awesome 2011 ends.

Kindle 3 is, by far, the most successful e-book reader ever produced by Amazon. Ladies and gentlemen, this 2011, Amazon will release another generation of the Kindle e-book reader, the Kindle 4. The features for this Kindle are still unknown. But there are already many people who are expecting various features for the said e-book reader. Most of the features will likely be adapted from their number one rival, Apple’s iPad tablet. The two most outstanding features of iPad are the touch technology and the LCD screen in full color.

People are praying and hoping that these two features will be incorporated in the Kindle 4. A colored Kindle in touch screen is not such a bad idea. Some of you might think that Kindle 4 will be just an iPad rip off. But let us remember that these two gadgets serve entirely different purposes. The Amazing OLED TV

Most consumers were dazzled by 3D and LED TVs when they were first introduced in the market. Now, there is a new type of digital viewing experience to enjoy your favorite movies and shows on and it is the OLED TV. Technology keeps changing in the blink of an eye so much so that it is hard to believe LED TVs were once considered to be an advance on the LCD variety.

If you are wondering what OLED technology is, it is the use of organic semiconductors or light-emitting diodes that are organic in nature and are used to display the images on the screen. What makes this more advanced than LED or LCD is the fact that it does not require a backlight to display images that are crystal clear. The electricity is naturally converted into light. How’s that for advanced technology?

Another amazing feature of an OLED TV is that their screens are as thin as paper. Sony was the pioneer in OLED technology by using it on small items like PDAs but it is Samsung that holds the top spot when it comes to owning almost all the advantages where this kind of technology is concerned, as the Korean brand has been steadily perfecting it over the years.

Normally, the larger the TV screen, the more pixels one would need to produce detailed clarity of images. But thanks to the Samsung OLED TV, a 40″ or 80″ screen will still display crystal-clear images.

It is clear that Samsung is the leader of the pack when it comes to OLED technology and their Japanese rivals SONY have been resigned to incorporating the technology in smaller devices. And it is a wonder since OLED TV news states that SONY was the first to introduce OLED TVs. The LG OLED TV too is no match for Samsung.
