- 9×13 inch pan, or bundt cake pan

- flour to dust the pan
- 2 to 3 ripe bananas (enough for about 1 cup)
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 Tbs. flour
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup sour cream or plain yogurt
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- ¾ cup chopped pecans (optional)
- confectioner’s sugar for dusting
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and lightly oil and dust flour in your pan. In a large bowl, mix the bananas, cake mix, flour, sugar, oil, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla. Incorporate all of the ingredients well with a mixer until it is light and smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans. Pour the batter into your pan and bake for about 45 minutes. After it is done baking, dust the top with the confectioner’s sugar.
